What is the "Ring of Fire"?

The ring of fire is where a lot of volcanoes and earthquakes usually occur. It is located in the pacific ocean and the home of many volcanoes and most of them are active. The only reason there are lots of volcanoes is because tectonic plates. They spread apart or combine to form them like mountains. They are all on the continents that are touching the Pacific Ocean. Even Hawaii was made from volcano eruption. However not all volcanoes are made in the Pacific Ocean and plate tectonics, like the one in Iceland which is in the Atlantic Ocean. Some are dangerous, but others are not even active. Anyways if you want to see volcanoes then visit the "Ring of Fire."
