Do volcano eruptions cause harm to the Earth? Q. #2

 Yes, volcanoes do cause harm to the Earth . First of all when they erupt it causes lava and hot magma to shoot out and burns and destroys everything in its way like trees, houses, plant life and the homes of the creatures that used to live there. It ruins any fertile farm land so nothing would grow because the lava hardens on top of the ground. The volcano also emits ash and lots of gases into the atmosphere to block out the sun and keep the harmful gases in and cause the Earth to be really warm  or really cold because all the ash is blocking the atmosphere, so nothing can go in or out. The sun won't be able to heat the earth so it will be really cold like the first ice age. But if  the volcano did all that then it should have been a massive volcano eruption, sometimes volcanoes don't cause a lot of damage at all some just leak out lava for a long time like the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii.  Volcanoes also delay things or stop things that are going on like the one that erupted in Iceland and closed lots of airports. Some volcanoes don't erupt for a long time ,but they could still erupt ,and some don't even function anymore.
